I don’t know about you but my grandkids LOVE to do things with their hands. They love to see what they can create and where they can take their imagination.  There are so many super cute craft ideas for the age of my kiddos I thought I would include a few of them here for you to make with your grandkids.

I just love these cute little turkey crowns. These Thanksgiving Turkey Crowns are fun enough to please the kids and pretty enough to please mom! You’ll love the texture of the watercolor feathers and turkey!

Studio DIY

I LOVE Thanksgiving. For many of my own children (Jeremy & Erica) it is their favoriate too. This cute centerpiece from Studio DIY will certainly thrill your grands when they pop it open at the end of dinner to find whatever you have placed inside.  I have put anything from confetti to popcorn, to small toys and candy. Get creative but even if your grandkids don’t love turkey – they will love THIS turkey.

JaMonkey

Ok this is a new one I’m going to try this year but can I just say how cute is this??? I think it’s the perfect little gift bag to give my grandkids. Another thought is to have the grands come over and make up a bunch and give to their pre-school and church teachers as well as friends.  I just think it is an awesome little gift bag and super simple to make.

I love this “Give Thanks” jar idea. It’s something you can sit out starting after Halloween (I’m one of those stick to your current holiday type of people). So starting the first of Nov the family can start filling this darling little jar with all the things they have to be grateful for.

I for one will be adding things like flushing toilets, washing machines and central heat!

Then on Thanksgiving day as you sit around eating your feast you can pull out all the gratitude and recognize all there is to be thankful for.

Project Kids

I love the idea of little “game/activity” stations where the family can go and relax and spend time together. I also love the ease of this Tic-Tac-Toe game and the fact that I can already see my grand kids faces when I tell them we are going to make it for their parents to play on Thanksgiving. Not only will they love to make it – but then it will be them dragging their parents to come and play it. LOVE it!

If you love chocolate like I love chocolate this is a must have Thanksgiving craft. Once again super easy to make with your grandkids and something that your family can enjoy snacking on all day long. You can use chocolate covered nuts or raisins as the base and then the sweet and salty of the pretzels.

All of these crafts are super easy to make with your grandkids or if you love crafts and want to do them alone for the Thanksgiving surprise – that would be fun too.
